COMMUNITY SERVICE
Grief Support
Our staff knows the importance of being active in the community. We offer assistance to families, before, during, and after services.
Holiday Remembrance Services
Each year we invite families to attend one of our Holiday Memorial Remembrance Services. Held at local churches in early December, they provide a caring, meaningful celebration of the people and times that are important in our lives. By placing an ornament with the name of your loved one on our Christmas tree, the tree comes to life. And by taking your ornament home and placing it on your Christmas tree, the memory of your loved one will continue through out the season. If you and your family would like to attend, please contact us for information and to make a reservation for this year’s service.
Continuing Care Series
We are pleased to provide a comforting series of grief booklets with the intention of providing comfort during the difficult grief process. These books written by renowned grief expert Dr. Doug Manning provide timely messages to help during each step in the recovery of grief. Gently letting each reader understand that the thoughts and behaviors that they are experiencing are most likely very normal. If you are interested in receiving these books, please contact us.
Education
We continue to sponsor and attend many regional Chamber of Commerce Business Expositions, Elder Care and Senior Expositions. By doing so, we can greet attendees; answer questions, and provide information, all in a very informal setting.
