In Wallingford, Wed., Oct. 12, 2005, Addison V. Beckwith, 83 of New Haven, husband of the late Eleanor P. Omicioli Beckwith, father of Diane Popolizio of Northford, Addison Beckwith and Catherine Beckwith Hubbell both of Orange County, CA, grandfather of Lauren and Christina Popolizio and brother of, Amos Hoffman of Wallingford. He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Irne Arnold and Lois Lyon. Addison was born in New Haven, June 2, 1922 a son of the late Addison and Sadie Roberts Beckwith. He was an Army Veteran of WW II and he retired from Geometric Tool Co. as a machinist in 1987. Mr. Beckwith was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus in New Haven and a member of the West Haven Yacht Club.
