AGNES LOVEJOY GEE Hamden-Agnes Lovejoy Gee, 88, of 75 Washington Ave., wife of the late Laurence E. Gee passed away January 1, 2002 in the Hospital of St. Raphael after a brief illness. Mrs. Gee was born in Worcester, MA, a daughter of the late Hiram E. and Victoria Towers Lovejoy and had resided in Hamden since 1940. She was an active member of the Whitneyville U.C.C. having served as financial secretary and she was a member of the church council and the Embers Group. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Laurence E. and Kathleen F. Gee of North Haven, William A. and Catherine M. Gee of Novi, MI and four grandchildren, Robert, Kenneth, James and Elizabeth Gee. She was predeceased by three brothers, Brad, Kenneth and Hiram Lovejoy. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 4, at 11 am in the Whitneyville United Congregational Church, Rev. Carolyn Young will officiate. Friends may call at church Friday from 10 to 11 am. Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
