Albert H. 'Bud' Clarke, Jr., 82, of West Haven, husband of the late Lee Proctor Clarke passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at CT Hospice in Branford. Father of Nellie Lee Tarini and her husband Robert of Richmond, RI, Albert H. 'Bud' Clarke III and his wife Justine of Dartmouth, MA, Luther P. Clarke and his wife Marybeth of Guilford, Jennie Lee Oronzo and her husband Bill of West Haven, and Mary Lee Coyle and her husband Patrick of North Haven. He is also survived by a sister, Elizabeth Silary of Jenkintown, PA and 14 grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Creighton of Ardmore, PA. Son of the late Albert H., Sr. and Iva Freas Clarke, Bud was born in Germantown, PA on January 23, 1928. He was a Radarman 3rd Class in the US Coast Guard during WW II, and was a National Sales Manager for Bowman Transportation Company. Funeral Service Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 11 AM at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Orange. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 4-8 PM at church.
