Middletown- Aleandra M. Komosa, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Wadsworth Glen Nursing Home in Middletown. She was born June 20, 1931 in Meriden, daughter of the late Victor and Mary Gelonese. She had worked for North American Phillips in Cheshire until her retirement. Aleandra's greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Phyllis Balogh of Middletown, her children and their spouses, Christine and her husband Tim Swartz of Plantsville, James and his wife Vicky Wrobel of Meriden, Michael Wrobel of Meriden and Cathleen and her husband George Cooper of Middletown and six grandchildren; Nathan and Caitlin Swartz, Rebecca, Nicholas and wife Vanessa Wrobel, Michelle Wrobel and Matthew Daigle. She also leaves four great-grandchildren and was predeceased by two brothers, Rocco and Diego Gelonese. The family would like to thank the staff at Wadsworth Glen Nursing Home for their never ending care and compassion. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher and Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Friday, June 12 from 5-7pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
