Alice Neps Bruce, In New Haven, May 27, 2002, Alice Neps Bruce, 80, of 53 Lamson St., West Haven, wife of the late Walter B. Bruce, mother of Pamela J. Bruce of West Haven and Walter R. Bruce of Hamden, grandmother of Nicole A. Bruce of New Haven. She was born in West Haven, Nov. 26, 1921 daugher of the late Rudolph & Alice Reiners Neps and was a lifelong resident of West Haven. She was the owner of the former Alice's Beauty Salon of West Haven from 1941-58 and was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church in West Haven. Funeral service will be Friday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven. Friends may call Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery.
