Angela Frances Cimerol, 87, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, joining the love of her life, the late Joseph J. Cimerol. Born in New Haven on June 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Ulizio) Conte.

Angela spent most of her life living and working in Hamden, CT. As a first-grade teacher, she began her career at Alice Peck School and later retired from West Woods School. Her dedication to her students was exceptional and extraordinary, earning her the honor of Teacher of the Year in 1997. Angela's passion for teaching didn't end with retirement; after 36 years in the classroom, she continued to volunteer her time at Spring Glen School in Hamden up until 2019.

Together with her husband, she established two endowments for St. Raphael's Hospital, contributing to the creation of the Heart Unit and the Elderly Unit. Among countless other charitable efforts, they were also devoted supporters of St. Rita's Church in Hamden.

Angela will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Francesca Beebe, and by three generations of nieces and nephews who were blessed to have had her in their lives. She will be remembered not only as an "aunt," "great-aunt," and "great-great-aunt," but as their one and only Z-the greatest angel of all.

Special appreciation is extended to Francesca Beebe and Juliselena Vitale for their love, devotion, care, support and presences throughout Angela's life.

Friends are invited to visit with her family on Wednesday, November 12th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, prior to her Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. in St. Rita's Church.
