Angela T. Cunningham, age 68, of Hamden, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family December 20, 2010 at CT Hospice in Branford. Angela was born on February 26, 1942 in Bogota, Colombia, a daughter of the late Jose and Lucia Martinez Trujillo. Angela is survived by her daughters, Lisa Cunningham & her husband Bill George of Guilford, Michelle Belch of Kelowna, BC Canada; a son, Douglas Cunningham of Branford; grandchildren, Nicholas George, Nathaniel, Rachel & Sarah Belch; sisters, Genoveva T. Palmieri of Hamden, Elvira T. Schrader of Washington, DC; brothers, Juan, Fernando & Mauricio Trujillo all of Bogota, Colombia and Jose Trujillo and his wife Joanne of Mesa, AZ. Angela was an interpreter for Goodwill Industries and a patient advocate for the Agency on Aging in New Haven. Relatives and friends may visit with her family on Wednesday from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden and are invited to go directly to St. Mary's Church, 5 Hillhouse Ave., New Haven to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 at 9:30 AM.
