Obituary

Ann Webster Talbot, age 82, of Hamden, passed away on May 18, 2015 at her residence. Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts on February 19, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Webster & Marion Cressy Webster. Ann is survived by her husband Edward F. Talbot; her daughters Susan Blum & her husband Ray of Prospect and Jane Talbot & her companion Jean Miccio of St. Petersburg, FL; her sons Steven Talbot & his wife Diane of Ansonia and John Talbot & his wife Tammy of Harwinton; sisters Polly Tucker of Lincoln, RI and Joan Woodbury & her husband Robert of Broomfield, CO. Ann is also survived by her 8 grandchildren. She was employed by Nationwide Insurance Company working in their claims department for many years before her retirement. Ann was a member of the Hamden Symphonics and was a winter resident of Dunedin, Florida. Friends may visit with her family at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and may attend her Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 22nd, in Ascension Church, 1040 Dunbar Hill Rd. Hamden. Interment will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
