Anna E. DeFeo Lorence, age 99, of Hamden, passed away on May 10, 2012. Anna was the widow of John Lorence, Sr. Born in New Haven on October 13, 1912; she was a daughter of the late Alberto & Maria Genoveffanicolai DeFeo and sister of the late Julia Gallo, Michael, Abe & Frank DeFeo. Anna is survived by her son John Lorence Jr. & his wife Alice of Hamden; her grandchildren Dorene Dadio & John Lorence III and 3 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her infant son, Albert Lorence. Anna was a seamstress, employed over the years at New Haven Coat, Columbia Mattress Company and Saxony Coat Company. Friends may visit with her family on Saturday, May 12th, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM and may attend her funeral service which will begin at 10:00 AM at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE, HAMDEN.
