Obituary

ANNA RADIN Anna Radin, wife of the late Irving Radin, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006 after a brief illness. Mrs. Radin was born in New Haven, Oct. 6, 1915, a daughter of the late Harry and Anna Kaputska Romanovsky and had resided in New Haven for many years, and later Hamden from 1976 to 2006, before moving to the Wright Residence at Masonic Healthcare, Wallingford. She was employed as a bookkeeper and was a life long member of the Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church. At the church she served on the Parish Council as Assistant Treasurer, in the choir, and was a member of the Sisterhood. She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Schaffeld of North Haven and a brother, Henry Romanovsky and his wife Valentina Romanovsky of Trumbull. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Carol Berube of Wallingford, Cathy and Dave Vargas of Rocky Hill, Henry and Janis Romanovsky of Orange, Gregory and Robin Romanovsky of Derby, and Steven and Ilean Radin and Phyllis Gamm of Hamden. Christian Burial Service will be Thursday, November 9 at 10 am at the Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church, 285 Alden Ave., New Haven. Friends may call at church Thursday morning from 9-10 am. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park will be private. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN.
