Anne B. Lacoske, age 87, passed away January 9, 2024. Born in Boise, Idaho on February 26, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Cecelia Mordas Bystrek. Anne was the widow of Jere B. Lacoske. She is survived by her sons, Jere M. Lacoske and his wife Koren of Waterford and Brett Lacoske and his wife Kelley of Deep River; her brother, Vincent Bystrek of Middlefield; grandchildren, Jennifer Seniff, Kelly and Michele Lacoske, Brett M. and Jonathan R. Lacoske, Jessica Fedina and Ashley Gudrian; and great-granddaughters Avery and Emery. Anne was predeceased by her daughter Gwen Lacoske, and 5 siblings. Anne lived most of her life in Meriden. She was a former secretary for the Canberra Corporation. Life is too short not to have pie, and do not forget the whip cream!
Friends may visit with her family at Beecher & Bennett – Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Friday, January 12th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Her Prayer Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Meriden.
