In CT Hospice, Branford, Aug. 19, 2004, Annie Stamatien Holtz, wife of Harold J. Holtz of 98 Island Ln., West Haven, mother of Ann Bartiss of West Haven and June Holtz of Palo Alto, CA, sister of Catherine Stamatien of West Haven, Crene Ferraro of Orange, Alexander Stamatien of West Haven, Aristotle Stamatien of Monticello, NY, Pericles Stamatien of West Haven and the late Victoria Apuzzo and James Stamatien. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and 17 nieces and nephews. Annie was born in New Haven, Oct. 7, 1921 a daughter of the late George D. and Maria Tomkow Stamatien. She had been a member of Christ Episcopal Church of West Haven for 57 years. Memorial service Tues., Aug. 24, 2004 at 10 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, West Haven.
