Arline C. Pye, In Cheshire, March 10, 2002, Arline C. Pye, 92, wife of Ross C. Pye of 140 Cook Hill Rd., Cheshire, sister of Doris E. Cook of Hartford, CT and also survived by several relatives in CT, MA and VT. She was born in Waterboro, ME on Dec. 25, 1909, devoted and loving daughter of the late Rev. George and Alice Lyman Cook. She was an honor student at Meriden High School graduating in 1927. She worked for the Lane Construction Co. of Meriden and was a longtime member of the former Main Street Baptist Church of Meriden where she was a Sunday School Teacher and church secretary for many years, a member of the Baptist Missionary Society , Council of Church Women and the CT Federation of Baptist Women. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 14 at 2:30 p.m. at Elim Park Baptist Home, 140 Cook Hill Rd., Cheshire.
