Arthur 'Art' Civitelli, Jr., 63, husband of Lynn White Civitelli of Wethersfield (formerly of Meriden), passed away suddenly September 19, 2017. Father of Krysten Civitelli of West Hartford, Katie Civitelli of Wethersfield, and the late Kimberly Civitelli. Son of Dorothy Larson Civitelli of Cheshire and the late Arthur Civitelli, Sr. Brother of David Civitelli of Mobile, AL and the late Robert Civitelli. He is also survived by 3 nieces and a nephew, and many 'adopted' children. Art was employed at Elim Park Baptist Home as a Maintenance Supervisor for 27 years before his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed bowling, singing, gardening, helping others, his cat, hazelnut coffee (light and sweet), talking, bear hugs, and hanging out with his family. Friends are invited to visit with his family at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Monday, September 25 from 5-7 PM. A Prayer Service will be held at 7 PM.
