Arthur J Skorupka, 82 years of young, has passed. He was born in New Haven, CT on May 14th, 1926, to the late Anthony and Helen Trawenski Skorupka. Arthur was predeceased by brothers Edmund and Hendrick, and he was also predeceased by his sister Eleanor. Surviving family members include his daughter Dawne Flynn, son-in-law Det. John H. Flynn, Jr., beloved grandsons Steven and John, and Copito, all of whom reside in East Haven. Arthur was a proud veteran of the United States Navy who survived action in the Pacific Theater in WWII, earning recognition for his service. Upon receiving an honorable discharge, he proceeded to work for RCA Electronics. He was then recruited by MB Electronics as a field service engineer to travel about the country supervising work on the space program. After Apollo was successfully launched, so were the engineers.
