Arthur Benjamin Williams, Jr. 88, husband of Marguerite Styer Williams of Petrose Circle, Orange, passed away Thurs., May 17, 2007. He was born in Detroit, MI, Jan. 15, 1919 son of the late Arthur and Grace Dennis Williams. He was a Insurance consultant with Nicholson Associates, for the Town of Orange and had an private practice. Mr. Williams was a veteran of WW II, U. S. Navy where he served as a Chief Yeoman. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Orange, American Legion Post 127 of Orange, Board of directors of the Orange Center Cemetery Association, Orange Historical Society and a 20 year member of the Pension Board for the Town of Orange and Orange Lodge, Order of Masons #143, A.F. & A.M. and a member of Pyramid Shrine of Bridgeport. Mr Williams was a resident of Orange for the past 50 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter Marguerite and her husband Chris Kirkpatrick of Cincinnati, OH and sons, Arthur Williams III and his wife Julia of Orange, Richard D. Williams and his wife Lisa of Yarmouth, ME, Gregory S. Williams and his wife Stephanie of Evanston, IL. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, Amanda, Amelia, Hilary, Evan, Heather, Metta, Everett, Anne Marie, Russell, Ben and Alison and 2 great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR Funeral Home, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven Sat., June 16, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Shriners Burn Institute, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
