MERIDEN-Asuncion Campo, 64, of 956 West Main St., died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at MidState Medical Center. She was the wife of Ricardo Campo. She was born in Manila, Philippines, August 14, 1936, the daughter of the late Frederico and Juana Arana Banagua. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ofelia and Joel Campo-Julian of Meriden; a son, Antonio Campo of Zamboanga City, Philippines; a brother, Edillo Banagua and a sister, Gloria Dela Cruz, both of Manila; and three nephews, Dinno Dela Cruz, Jeric Dela Cruz and Jon-Jon Dela Cruz, all of the Philippines. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Zamboanga City, Philippines. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT.
