Audrey B. Hart, 91, of West Haven passed away peacefully on August 18, 2016 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the loving wife of the late Murray Albert Hart. Audrey was born in New Haven on April 13, 1925, daughter of the late Lillian N. and John V. Bowditch of West Haven. She is survived by her son John M. Hart of East Haven; daughter Deborah Bowditch Goodykoontz and her husband William of Cape Elizabeth, ME; her son-in-law Donald Hazen of East Wakefield, NH; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Jayne Elizabeth Hazen of East Wakefield, NH; and her sister Shirley June Bowditch of West Haven. Audrey worked for 20 years for Colonial Bank. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of West Haven for 47 years, American Legion Post 88 of Hamden, and the Telephone Pioneers. All services for Audrey will be private.
