Audrey Mae Kamens Hiller of Berlin, CT and Otis, MA passed away Friday, November 27th, 2009 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of William 'Bill' Hiller. She was born in Meriden on January 3, 1932, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Helen Bernat Kamens. She was a graduate of Meriden High School and had been a volunteer at Meriden-Wallingford Hospital. We will always remember Audrey's bright smile and how she made everything special. She loved spending time with all her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the heart of our family and a great friend to all who knew her. Audrey's life was something to be celebrated. We all know that she is looking down upon us now making sure we are safe and sound, yielding any trouble that comes forward to us and keeping us from all harm. Audrey is our special guardian angel. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and three sons: Linda Birdsey of Meriden, Susan Holding and William 'Billy' Hiller both of Massachusetts, Jeffrey Hiller of Rocky Hill and Robert 'Robby' Hiller of Meriden; eleven grandchildren, Meghan Birdsey, Casey Birdsey, Nick Hiller, Jesse Hiller, Ali Hiller, Nicole Hiller, Melissa Hiller Amanda Hiller, Brady Holding, Ben Holding and Emily Holding; three nieces, Krista Paparazzo, Sandy Kamens and Tracy Kamens; three nephews, Eric Kamens, Greg Kamens and Michael Kamens; a brother, Paul Kamens of Meriden and a brother-in-law, David Hiller and family.
