Baby Boy Zayn Mohammad Luis Colon was born on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 2:48 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds and was 19 inches long. Zayn's family was blessed with 12 hours with him, before he went to his heavenly home in the arms of his loving parents at 2:46 p.m. at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the answer to their prayers, and they waited for his birth with joyful expectations and hope.

Zayn experienced a lot of kisses and hugs from his mom and dad while being told "I love you" an uncountable amount of times. He is deeply loved by his mommy and daddy, Fadwa Daoui and Luis Colon of Wallingford, big sister Zulany Colon, his grandparents, his great-grandparents, his aunts and uncles, his cousins, and many others. Zayn will always remain his parents' precious baby boy and Zulany's little brother, and they will hold him again in heaven one day.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 23rd at 10:00 a.m. in All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave., North Haven. Family and friends are invited to meet at the cemetery office at 9:45 a.m.
