Barbara Gross, 82, of Hamden, passed away peacefully April 17, 2014 at Hamden Healthcare Center after a long illness. She was a retired longtime teacher in the Hamden Public School system. She is survived by her longtime loving companion, Bill Collins; her daughter Kathy and husband Kevin Hall of New Russia, NY, and two grandchildren, Caleb and Megan Hall. Friends may attend her Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on Thursday, April 24th in St. Rita's Church, 1620 Whitney Ave., Hamden, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
