Barbara Joan Penque, 81, passed away on May 15, 2024, at Apple Rehab Coccomo in Meriden, CT. She was born in New Haven, CT on December 18, 1942. She was predeceased by her devoted parents, John and Josephine Penque, her cherished sister, Florence Antos, and her dear uncle, Anthony Mikulka. Left to cherish loving memories of Barbara are her favorite and dedicated brother-in-law, Stan Antos, her beloved nieces and nephew; Kathy Antos, Jackie Antos, Liz Woods, Joseph Antos, and their families. Barbara's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the staff at Apple Rehab Coccomo for their many years of warm and compassionate care of Barbara.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may visit with her family from 10:00-11:00 a.m. before the service. Interment will be held in Beaverdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Apple Rehab Coccomo, 33 Cone Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
