In New Haven, Jan. 1, 2003, Barbara Powell, 63, of 28 Dix St., Hamden, mother of Stephanie St. John Olear of Astoria, NY and Louis St. John of Chicago, sister of Walter Powell of Slippery Rock, PA, Richard Powell of Houston,TX and the late Donald Powell. Also survived by 2 grandchildren. She was born in New York, NY, daughter of the late Walter and Estelle Segay Powell.
