In Wallingford, Tuesday, October 16, 2007, Beatrice Burnard Knodel, formerly of Hamden and Bradenton, FL, beloved wife of the late Henry J. Knodel, entered into eternal rest at the age of 102. Born on June 15, 1905 in West Haven, a daughter of the late Henry and May Lewis Burnard. Beatrice is survived by her daughters Janice Knodel Marenholz of Hamden and Beverly Knodel Clark and her husband Everett of Cheshire; 5 grandchildren, John Marenholz and wife Carol of Hamden, Katherine Clark Gagnon and husband Douglas of Maine, Joan Clark Walter and husband Lee of Waterbury, Kenneth Clark and Barbara Clark of Cheshire, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Lilly Smibert. Beatrice was a former member of the OES Golden Rod Chapter and a member of the Mt. Carmel Congregational Church. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. Interment in Bradenton, FL will be private. Memorial Contributions in her memory can be made to The Mt.
