Beatrice S. Wood, 90, passed away Feb. 13, 2004 at the Masonic Geriatric Health Care Center. She was born in Guilford, June 18, 1913 a daughter of the late Alonzo and Katherine B. Wade Shufelt and resided in New Haven and West Haven before moving to Wallingford in 1994. She worked for SNET as a Supervisor for over 31 years. Beatrice was survived by her two loving children, Phyllis Pearson Clark and her husband, Thomas of Branford, Raymond A. Wood and his wife, Marion Lapan of Oak View, CA, her grandchildren, Jill Clark Lipman, Sally Clark Funnell and her husband James, great-grandchildren, Jessica and Chloe Lipman, Charlotte and James Funnell. Predeceased by her brother Alonzo Shufelt. Graveside service at Montowese Cemetery in North Haven on Monday, Feb. 16th at 10 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at the First Congregational Church of West Haven at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation, P.O.
