Phillips, Bernadette A. Bernadette Alexander Phillips, 59, of Hamden passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of the late Glenn Phillips. Mother of Lynn Phillips, Stephanie Haynes and her husband Michael all of Hamden and Melissa Phillips of Wethersfield; sister of Everett Alexander of Santa Monica, CA, Betty Richardson of North Haven, Robert Alexander of Bradenton, FL, Paul Alexander of Hamden, Linda Nuzzo of Port St. Lucie, FL and Marion Alexander of Hamden and grandmother of Crystal and Marylyn Edmonds, Donovan and Portia Haynes and Vincenzo Cenko. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bernadette was born in New Haven, May 30, 1950, a daughter of the late Marie Pilletere Alexander. Prior to moving to Hamden in 1990, she lived in West Haven for many years. She had worked in retail for many years, her last employment was at Save-A-Lot.
