Hamden-Bernice Kaiser, 94, wife of the late Henry E. Kaiser formerly of 680 Mix Ave. passed away Dec. 9 in the Harborside Arden House after a brief illness. She was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Simon and Esther Schwede Cornell. Mrs Kaiser was a member of the Golden Rod Chapter, O.E.S. of West Haven and was a resident of Hamden since 1973. She is survived by a son David Kaiser of North Haven, sister Theresa Nashner of Newington, grandchildren Jason Kaiser and Lisa Smith. She was predeceased by a sister Marion Freeman and brothers Maurice and Robert Cornell. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening December 12, from 7 to 8pm at BEECHER & BENNETT 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
