In CT Hospice, Branford, April 18, 2004, Bertha King Simeone, 88, of 785 Main St., West Haven, wife of the late Ralph Simeone, mother of Robert Simeone and his wife, Ruth of West Haven and Ralph Simeone of Derby. Also survived by 2 grandsons. She was predeceased by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She was born in Brewster, NY, Jan. 23, 1916 a daughter of the late Isaac and Emma Wiseman King. She served in the US Army during WW II as a nurse in North Africa. She had worked as a nurse at the West Haven VA Hospital for 20 years retiring in 1980. Funeral service Wed., April 21 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
