CLEARWATER, FL - Betty A. Hobson, 78, of 3141 McMullen Booth Road, formerly of Dryden Drive, Meriden, CT, died Thursday, Apr. 3, 2003, at Morton Plant Rehab Center in Belleair, FL. She was the wife of the late Winchell Hobson. Born in Hartford, CT on March 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Lambert F. and Elsie Southwick Anderson. She was a graduate of Larson College in Hamden, CT and was a member of the Center Congregational Church in Meriden. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Gary Moser of Safety Harbor, FL and Joan and Christopher Loos of Meriden; and four grandchildren, Ellen Moser and Jaclyn Moser of Safety Harbor, FL and Thomas Loos and Susan Loos of Meriden. The funeral will be Monday, April 7, at 10 a.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT. The Rev. George H. True will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
