Betty J. Kockler, 94, passed away on June 23, 2024. Betty was born on November 4, 1929, the daughter of Flora (Lawrence) and William Kockler. She leaves behind daughters Susan (Kurt) Colrus and Linda (William) Smith, her beloved grandchildren Kimberly Colrus, Jeffrey Colrus, William (Katie) Smith and Jillian (Marc) Shackett; her brother William (Nell) Kockler and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her sisters Doris Burr, Jean Hunt, Joan Martin and brothers Frank Kockler and Lawrence Kockler.
Her family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to the devoted staff at The Village at Brookfield Commons and Candlewood Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center for the attention and care given to our mom. A special thank you to her Hospice team at AccentCare for the invaluable services they provided us and most importantly to our mom. Their caring and compassion is beyond measure.
