Brenda J. Locke, 83, of Meriden, loving wife of the late Herbert Locke, Sr. passed away on July 29, 2023, at Midstate Medical Center. She was born in Merrill, Maine on July 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Wesley and Beatrice (Mitchell) Bell. Brenda is survived by her children Kim Frosolone and her husband Veto of East Haven, Herbert Locke Jr. and his wife Patty-Ann of South Carolina, Tammy Locke, and John Locke of Meriden, her sister Diane Stone, her niece Stephanie Stone, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Besides her husband Herbert, she was predeceased by her sister Sharon Cain and Ted Cain, and also brother-in-law Gerald Stone.

Brenda loved doing jigsaw puzzles, the harder the better! She liked to "putter" around her yard and loved to watch her flowers. Brenda was a private duty nurse for many years before retiring.

Services will be privately held at the convenience of her family.
