MIDDLETOWN - Carol Ann Bushnell, 63, of 100 Sachem Drive, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of Peter E. Bushnell. Born in Meriden on Feb. 14, 1943, she was the daughter of Claire LaMont Cardillo of Meriden and the late Dominic Cardillo. She was employed in the Special Education Department at Moody School in Middletown and was a member of the Third Congregational Church. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Marie Ann Bushnell of Rutland, VT; a son, Allan Bushnell of Middletown; two grandchildren, Harold Richard Bushnell and Taylor Marie Bushnell, both of Middletown; a sister, Joan Raymond of Middletown and three brothers, Charles Cardillo of Southington, Donald Cardillo of Meriden and James Cardillo of Old Lyme. The funeral will be held Monday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at the Beecher & Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT. The Rev. Dr. Bruce Wood will officiate. Burial will follow in Miner Cemetery in Middletown. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
