Carol Stempel Vartuli, 65, wife of Anthony Vartuli of West Haven passed away March 31, 2012 in the Hospital of St. Raphael. Mother of Anna of Stamford, Jason of East Haven and Alfred of Stamford. Also survived by eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Joseph Stempel. Carol was born April 13, 1946 in Port Chester, NY daughter of the late Rudolph and Josephine Belmonte Stempel. Memorial Mass Monday, April 9 in Our Lady of Victory Church, West Haven at 11 a.m. Burial in St. Lawrence Mausoleum.
