Obituary

Carol (Lemke) Webster, 74, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2010 at Bel-Air Manor in Newington, CT. She was born in Meriden on September 5th, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Martha (Miller) Lemke and Edward Lemke, Sr. and the wife of the late George H. Webster III. As a devout Catholic she was a member of St. Mary's Church, St. Elizabeth's Society and a member of St. Rose's Church in Meriden, CT. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and took great pride in her family and friends. She loved to talk with people and her passion was to assist people in their lives with her prayers. She will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her two children and their spouses; Daniel G. Webster and Donna (Guillemette) Webster of Bristol, CT, and Carolyn Webster-Rosado and Raymond Rosado of New Britain, CT. She is also survived by siblings Bernice Thorp, Edward Lemke, Jr., Martin Lemke, Sr. and predeceased by her sister Rita Coss. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend our deepest gratitude to the caregivers at Bel-Air Manor for their compassion and their care of our beloved mother. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 35 Center St. Meriden at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. There will be no calling hours and the burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Joselin Diabetic Center at Hospital of Central Connecticut, 120 Grand Street, New Britian, CT 06051.
