In Plantsville, CT, Aug. 5,2003, Caroline Swierczek Mead, 89, of Deer Run Road, Woodbridge, wife of the late Clayton Mead, mother of Valerie Mombello of Woodbridge and Robert Mead of Colorado., sister of Bernice Kocot. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Newman and Valerie Hoffman and brothers, John and Joseph Swierczek. She was born Jan. 20,1914 in Poughkeepsie, NY, a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Chardnik Swierczek. Funeral from the Auchmoody Funeral Home, 16 Grand Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY, Sat., Aug. 9.
