In Wallingford, Feb. 28, 2003, Carolyn Wilhelm Carroll formerly of Hartford Turnpike, North Haven, wife of William A. Carroll. Born in Hamden, Feb. 16, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise Scholl Wilhelm. She was a graduate of the New Haven State Teachers College. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Suzanne Parker of Wallingford and Barbara McGarry and her husband, James of Sayville, NY, four grandchildren; Lisa Parker, Maghan, Allison and Ryan McGarry and two great-grandchildren; Kira and Taryn Murphy. She was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth W. Bassett.
