Carolyn (Carolina Lucia) Carlson, 95, of Cresskill, N.J. wife of the late Paul Edwin Carlson, passed away on November 26, 2011 at Emeritus in Woodbridge, CT. Born in the Bronx, N.Y. on July 23, 1916 to Francesco and Ezilde Maresca of Sorrento, Italy, and later of Bronx, N.Y. She was predeceased by two sisters, Lucy Franzino and Maria Maresca. She was the mother of Carol Anne Mazzotta of Woodbridge, CT. and Paul Edwin Carlson, Jr. of Cresskill, N.J. Besides her daughter and son she is survived by three grandchildren, Rosanna Mazzotta Baksheev and her husband Denis, Anthony Mazzotta and his wife Andaleeb and Paula Mazzotta, by three great-grandchildren Peter Baksheev, Daria Baksheev and Giuseppe Khaleel Mazzotta. A family prayer service was held Saturday Nov. 26, at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, Hamden CT.
