Catherine Jeannette Magnuson, age 93, of North Haven, passed away Feb. 15, 2009. Catherine was the widow of Theodore G. Magnuson; mother of the late Jeanne C. Longley & Robert T. Magnuson; grandmother of Linda Kearney, Nancy Longley Hernandez, Atty. Christopher Longley, Pamela Beers, Jennifer Sumski, Laura Starkey & Robert Magnuson; sister of Shirley Perry of Wallingford & the late Arlene Shove & Eleanor Nerreau. Catherine is also survived by 14 great grandchildren. Born in Middletown, NY on November 9, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Walter & Madaline Allan Winch. Catherine lived in New Haven most of her life, she worked 8 years as a secretary at Amity High School in Woodbridge. Relatives & friends are invited to attend a Graveside Ceremony on Wednesday Feb.18, 2009 at 2:00PM in Centerville Cemetery, Washington Ave. Hamden.
