In New Haven, April 17, 2003, Charles E. Anthony of 530 Third Ave., West Haven, husband of Shirley Beard Anthony, father of Ronald V. Anthony and his wife Susan DeSilver Anthony of Northford. Born in New Haven, February 5, 1912, he was the son of the late John R. and Hattie Van Allen Anthony. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was a self employed carpenter and painter. Mr. Anthony has lived in West Haven since 1947. Funeral service at the BEECHER AND BENNETT - TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 CAMPBELL AVE., CORNER OF COURT ST, WEST HAVEN, Monday, April 21 at 11 a.m. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
