Charles Gustave Boyaji, 61, of Hamden, loving husband of Deborah Booth Boyaji, passed away peacefully at his home on August 31, 2009. He was born in New Haven on April 13, 1948 to the late Gustave and Christine Dondi Boyaji. Besides his wife, Charles leaves his two sons, Brian Neno Boyaji and his wife Shari Lynn Boyaji of Glastonbury and Brendan Charles Boyaji of North Haven and his grandchildren, Trevor Brian Boyaji and Lynn Ellen Boyaji. Charles lived his whole life in Hamden and worked as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service for the past 26 years. He was a baseball enthusiast and followed UCONN basketball. Spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite past time and he always looked forward to vacations with his family on Cape Cod. A Funeral Service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, on Friday, September 4th at 10 a.m. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will take place in Center Cemetery in North Haven.
