Charles A. Tripp, 97, husband of the late Dorothy Rose Small Tripp, passed away Wed., May 4, 2005 in the Harborside Health Care-Arden House. He was born in New Haven, Jan. 16, 1908, a son of the late Arthur and Florence Buskmaster Tripp and lived in Orange for many years before moving to Bella Vista, New Haven. Mr. Tripp was employed at Sikorsky Aircraft as a plumber prior to retirement. Charles was very proud of his membership in the Lifetime Master Bridge Players Club. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Leith of Hamden and Marion Mitchell of West Haven and a brother, Deacon James Tripp of Hamden. He was predeceased by a sister, Helen Barber and two brothers, Walter and William Tripp. Funeral service Sat., May 7 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven. Friends may call prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery.
