Charlotte K. Igelspacher, age 97, of West Haven, passed away on June 29, 2011 at the Hewitt Health & Rehab Center in Shelton. Charlotte was the widow of Anton Igelspacher. She was born in Breslau, Germany on December 5, 1913, a daughter of the late Paul & Katherine Klose Rohde. Charlotte was an Administrative Assistant for many years for various companies and a former Nurse's Aid at St Joseph's Hospital in Stamford. Besides her husband she was predeceased by four brothers & a sister all in Germany. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Gisela Matisons of West Haven, CT; her grandchildren, Melissa Matisons-Ponce & her husband Chris of Mooresville, NC and Jamie C. Matisons of Carey, NC and one great grandson Ryan Matisons Wood. Friends may visit with her family on Saturday, July 9, 2011 for 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the BEECHER & BENNETT - TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven. Her Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 PM in the funeral home on Saturday. Charlotte's burial will be private.
