Christopher Eric Olson, 23, son of Karl and Nancy Collett Olson of 585 West Todd St., Hamden, passed away suddenly November 21, 2004 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Brother of Russell A. Olson of Hamden. Grandson of the late Eric & Ellen Olson and James & Lois Collett. Chris was born in New Haven, November 21, 1981 and completed Notre Dame High School of West Haven in 2000 and had attended the University of New Haven. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop #604 of Hamden and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Chris was a member of several Native American dance and drum groups; the Quinnipiac Dancers, Red Tail Dancers and the Iron Hawk Singers. He was employed at the Howard Paving Co. for several years before recently working at the Sweeney Excavating Co. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 27 at 10 a.m. in the Mount Carmel Congregational Church, 3284 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN, Friday, November 26 from 4-8 p.m. Burial in Centerville Cemetery.
