Meriden- Clara Louise Wheeler Gorham, 90, wife of the late John L. Gorham, of Sunny Acres Tpke., Wallingford, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000 in the Meriden Nursing Home after a brief illness. Mrs. Gorham is survived by a loving sister and brother-in-law Hilda C. Potter and James Potter, Sr. of Wallingford and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 6 sisters and 6 brothers. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday,Dec. 5th at 1:00 pm. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden with the Rev. Charles A. Smith officiating. Friends may call prior to the funeral from 11:00 - 1:00pm. Burial will be in Hamden Plains Cemetery.
