Clifton McClure, 76, passed away on December 16, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra Bosley McClure for 53 years. He was born in Tryon, NC to Virginia Griffin McClure and the late Perry McClure. He served as a deacon at Westville Bible Chapel. He was employed at Insalco Corp. and Commercial Furniture.

Besides his wife and mother, Clifton is survived by his daughters, Jenal McClure and Latanya McClure-Boyd and her husband Jerrel; brother, Marvin McClure and his wife Denise; and grandson, Jacari McClure, along with many other family members and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with Clifton's family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27th in BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in West Woods Bible Chapel, 165 Hillfield Road, Hamden. Burial will be private.
