Obituary

Clinton H. "Mickey" Albee, Jr., 89, of Meriden, loving husband of the late Madeline (Goslin) Albee, passed away on November 15, 2022 at Miller Memorial in Meriden surrounded by his loving family. Born in Machias, ME on April 12, 1933, a son of the late Clinton and Marion (Ackley) Albee, Mickey is survived by his children; Robin Merola (Dominic), Tammy Albee, and Lisa Heath (Steven), brothers; Jack Albee (Lucille), Donald Albee (Claudia), and Wayne Albee, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was pre-deceased by his children; Gail Chasse, Kim Wrublevski, and Mark Albee, siblings; William, George, Richard, Paul, and Carl Albee, Leonis Parsons, Christine Albee, Stella Thompson, and Mary Albee, and grandchildren Crystal Strachan and Timothy Granger. After honorably serving in the U.S. Army and receiving a Bronze Medal during the Korean Conflict, he went on to work for International Silver for 33 years and then The Miller Co. in Meriden until his retirement.

Friends are invited to visit with Mickey's family on Friday, November 18th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. A service celebrating his life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 19th at 10:30 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
