Cynthia G. Doolittle, 85, passed away December 24, 2023 at Benchmark Senior Living. She was born September 18, 1938 in New Haven, daughter of the late Lauren and Grace Haesche Doolittle. She was a long-time resident of Centerbrook Road in Hamden. Cynthia graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in education. She went on to teach in the Hamden school system before her retirement. Cindy loved dogs, cats, and traveling. She was a very independent person who forged numerous close relationships through her life. Her family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to the staff of Benchmark's Harbor Unit for their loving care and support.
A Prayer Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 29th at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may visit with her family prior to the start of the service, from 9:30-10 a.m. Interment will follow in Centerville Cemetery.
