On the morning of November 13, 2020, our beloved sister and friend Cynthia Elaine Troxler entered eternal rest. Cynthia was born in New Haven on February 6, 1952 to the late Samuel and Gloria Plummer Troxler. Cynthia was a graduate of Hillhouse High School, where she was a member of the cheerleading squad. After graduation Cynthia continued her studies at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, earning her associate degree in nursing. She worked for the State of CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. She would work many hours of overtime because she loved what she did— helping others. Cynthia was very family-oriented. A generous person, she was always giving towards her family. Many times she would go out of her way to help if you needed her. Although she had no children of her own, she was always there if you needed a babysitter or to cook a meal. She loved to cook, sing, read, and most of all, spend time with her family. Her name signifies the essence of what she was like. She was caring, loving, as well as supportive. She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Diane Jackson & her husband Reginald of Hamden, Sandra Williams of Hartford, and Patricia Epps & her husband George of Bloomfield.  Predeceased by her brothers, Samuel Troxler and twins Kenneth and Keith Troxler. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends whom she loved dearly. We will truly miss our sister so much, but we thank God for all the moments we have of her. Her family will treasure those memories forever. She is resting in peace now. So long our sister—we love you Cynthia.

A Funeral Service for Cynthia will be held privately before being interred with her family members in Evergreen Cemetery.
