Rocky Hill- It is with saddness that we announce the passing of D.Rodney Day, 54 died on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Middlesex Hospital following a brief illness. Rod was born June 11, 1957 in Middletown a son of the late Wilfred and Elinor (Ennegren) Day. He is survived by his brothers, Jonathan(Linda) Day of Meriden and Myles (Melonie) Day of Knoxville, TN. nephews, Justin and Christopher Day and a niece Melissa(Eric) Cox and many cousins.. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 10am - 12noon at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
